Last Day To Apply To Become A Master Gardener

I just wanted to remind everybody that today is the deadline to apply for the 2008 Los Angeles County Master Gardener class. For more information, go to the website at: http://celosangeles.ucdavis.edu/Common_Ground_Garden_Program/

Hopefully, those are interested already applied or at least read the requirements, because you needed to get LiveScan fingerprints and complete their very thorough application packet!

    Couple of comments:
    1)'Giving Gardens' -- that's my favorite.
    2) Barbara Kingsolver's book is called "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" not mineral
    3) Are you City Farm Girl, or LA Farm Girl? I'm new to blogs so I'm not sure why there's a difference....

    Hi Carrie!

    You know, I have the book and when I typed the title, mineral just came out, so I fixed it!

    And, when I signed up on blogger, I first hoped to call my blog City Farm Girl so chose that as my username, but somebody had it already and then I got to thinking. I am an LA Farm Girl but didn't want to change it yet again!

    So far, the votes have The Giving Gardeners leading, followed by Giving Gardens.
